Pencil Sketches

Seeking shells, and by that I mean finding them myself on beaches and in oceans throughout the world, has been a hobby of mine since I was a little girl living on Seal Beach in California. Today, I have over two hundred fifty species of shells. Many pristine shells are protected from the sun in a special cabinet and chests.  Others have decorated mirrors, the Christmas tree and and other items. Some sit on tables. Each species has been documented in black hardbound drawing journals. Gastropods, bi-valves, cephalopods and other interesting sea life comprise my collection.

On this page is a small sampling of my sketches and drawings.

(Note: Live coral has never been disturbed while seeking shells)
